What sort of interest would he be paying on that loan?
When I read all the negative comments, I think they are just jealous. Robert Kiyosaki is a successful businessman. He wrote several books, and he taught people how to invest their money in the stock market.

Daniela, I just posted my first very positive comment on one of your videos, and now I see this video and I am thinking, what is the world??!! I know that if you have an interview with one of this "big shots" you really must feel obligated to publish the video, but this video is real garbage, Robert, effortless transformed it into that.

The only reason the deal worked for him is because he bought the gold he said at $300 per oz. His original purchase price on that gold was 100K. So he's making a cash flow of $40k per month cash flow on a 100K investment. Not a bad deal. He's making 40% on his original investment of 100K.
It would not work in todays dollars, because he would only be making 4% on his cash. You can make more that in a high yield interest account. Its possible also he could do some value adds to the property, charge more rents and spit off more cash flow. Also as inflation increases, he can always increase the rent.
Should he have waited until the housing market crashes and bought the property at 5 million a year or so from now? Its possible. I don't think we're getting the full story, but from the story we do know, it would make sense.
Keep Gold until goes up in value/price & now trade for fiat… 💴 hahaha hahahaha
