If Trump succeeds and ends the Russian-Ukrainian war, it would have a positive effect on Armenia, public activist Kenneth Hachikian told Alpha News.
“And to the extent that the Russian-Ukrainian war stops, or there’s a long-term ceasefire, then Russia’s position would improve.
The problem of stopping Russian energy supplies to Western Europe is becoming more acute. Western Europe will be less dependent on energy supplies from Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan would have less importance and influence on the West.
Likewise, with what’s going on in the Middle East, to the extent that, you know, peace were to occur, you know, the Armenians who live in Lebanon, who live in Syria, who live throughout the Middle East would personally be at less risk. And you know, perhaps Iran would become less of a pariah state. I’m a little less optimistic that that will occur, but Iran has already signaled a much less hostile posture than before.
And it’s possible that Trump’s stick-and-carrot approach, and I’m intentionally saying stick-and-carrot because he is putting the stick out first, particularly with respect to Iran, to the extent that they are responsive and fall back to more conventional behavior, conventionally accepted behavior, that would be beneficial to Armenians.
So if either situation improves, if the Ukraine situation improves and the Middle East situation improves, the welfare of Armenians would improve, not directly but indirectly,” Hachikian said.

That say ukrainians will not go for a ceasefire I don't know what he is talk about no one in Congress wants a ceasefire that means that Russia controls Ukrainian territories nobody wants that Europe doesn't want that and no one does nor the Ukrainian people want that so he think of this imaginary ceasefire that's going to happen with the with Russia and Ukraine and it's going to make armenia relationship better with Russia and if that the wait that he is thanks
