It's curious that most of greek mythology, is just gods being jerks to humans, Medusa and Athena, Andromeda and Poseidon, Persefone and Hades, Zeus' s3xcapedes, Hera driving Hercules mad so can slaughter his family, etc.

All greek mythology is a hard lesson that if you are a beautiful woman, it’s a curse. Zeus would SA you, and then you would incur the wrath of Hera. Pretty straightforward, don’t be a beautiful woman in ancient civilizations. It absolutely was a curse to stick out.

I’m not sure why this is on my feed. But I get the storyline. Not necessarily something I asked to hear. But parents can love their kids and show affection in different ways. This was many years back. Moral lesson have matured over time. But children and people over face different challenges. So be proud of your babies( even the adult ones). Sometimes people just need someone to love them and be proud regardless of their level of accomplishments. It’s not sugarcoating, but sometimes just that uplift helps gets someone in a better mood/place.
