Yes, Vivaldi was and is one the few humans throughout the centuries with one of the most brilliant minds with infinite brilliance, imagination and creativity. His potential of musical creation reached only one half of its totally for lack of appreciation. Sadly, it is an unimaginable loss to the world.
Can’t listen to this. The accent is grating.
❤❤❤❤
One 9f the worst narrations to date. And why does the camera focus on unknown and irrelevant eyes? Poor Vivaldi!
An excellent documentary, but there's only 1 mistake. Pietro Metastasio was not a composer.
🙂🌎⏳🎻🎼🎹🙏♥️
My favorite composer of all time. Glorious!
What a life. I am a composer on piano, guitar, and bass guitar. I do blues/jazz/rock but I love baroque classical composers.
Wonderful.

OSPEDALE della PUETA was an orphanage for ilegltimare girls of men from noble families.Vivaldi was their teacher..❤

Gareth Johnson is a great narrator.
This is such an interesting look at history.
Maestro Vivaldi was a victim of two evils: physical illness and jealous people. He was a great Catholic priest.
Baptised twice? Bit weird.
Greatest composer in history? I don’t think so.
It boils down to sanctity of life. We should capture this in our constitution, with penalty to ignorance.lf we all give sanctity of life, funds to buy drugs all hospitals shall not b embezzled, land shall not be stolen, free education funds won't line pockets of corrupt officials, respect to objective opinion agnst status quo shall be upheld.
Quick note regarding Vivaldi's operas: I was curious so I looked up what I could find and found out that although he claimed to have written 94 operas, just under 50 can be confirmed (which is still amazing!). Some of these are known about but the music has been lost. The music of others has come down to us incomplete or in fragments. Fortunately, there are enough of these pieces to be performed and enjoyed by music lovers. Vivaldi and his music has long fascinated me and I am delighted to see that it is making a revival.
Great composer.
Take a stroll down the Hollywood Stars Walk of Fame to see how fleeting fame is. I am so glad he was rediscovered.
love it!
