YEREVAN, Armenia – President Trump is meeting with key leaders of two countries today to try to end one of the longest conflicts in the world. The president will be talking with leaders from Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
As Armenia struggles to recover from ethnic cleansing and pressure from hostile neighbors, President Trump wants a peace deal that could reshape the region.
In the shadow of Mount Ararat, Armenia stands as the world’s first Christian nation – and today, one of the most threatened. In 2023, Azeri forces overran its region of Nagorno-Karabakh, forcing more than 120,000 ethnic Armenians to flee their homes.

In a bid to shift the region's balance of power, Israel has for years illicitly transported arms to Azerbaijan, impacting the latter's conflict with Armenia and creating a crisis with bordering Iran.
According to a 6 March investigation by Haaretz, Israeli weapons were being transported to the Azerbaijani military during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, which left thousands of civilians dead, wounded, and displaced.
Armenian Christians in Israel have had their lives threatened and homes possessed by Settlers.
Israel even used the Pegasus spyware to spy on Armenians during the war.

And can't help but speculate how Jesus would be treated if he was on earth today living the same way he did 2000 years ago. His lifestyle was the very epitome of the people who are persecuted by so called Christians in today's world. We have the same type of religious hierarchy today as the ones back then ..What is wrong with everyone? Why do they not understand the teachings of Christ? Why do they treat the homeless like vermin? Why do they frown on the poor, the less fortunate, and the immigrant? Why do they focus on small phrases within God's written word and read the whole story, and get the big picture..Some don't bother at all, and put all their trust and faith in some other person or pastor's interpretation..Why? How? Can a person expect to enter the kingdom if they don't go on a personal journey to find the Christ within themselves

Confronts threat how? He literally gave Azerbaijan everything it wanted.
He is REALLY wanting the Nobel Peace prize. That's what is behind any of his "efforts", if that's what you want to call them.
This story is quite biased. Azeris were first to get kicked out of their territory, Nagorniy Karabakh. It is true that Armenians lived there in big numbers, but it was still Azerbaijani territory. Imagine Californians get kicked out by Mexico because majority in California are Mexicans.
Then reciprocal pogroms started kicking out Armenians. There is no justification for either act of violence, but the story isn’t properly presented in this video.
In addition, plenty of Russians, Jewish, Armenian people along with other minorities lived in peace in Azerbaijan. In the capital, you can find Orthodox churches (at least three), synagogues, and mosques. There has been high tolerance toward other nationalities and religions in AZ. Armenians have been more monolithic and even during Soviet era openly despised Russian speaking population there.
In AZ, Russian language was welcomed and was even the primary language for years, while in AR, they were quite nationalistic. Their Christianity didn’t translate into tolerance toward others.

This was not a peace deal, but rather a declaration of war against Russia by building a NATO base in its flank. This will certainly lead to WW3 because Putin is not going to accept this in any way.
