The financial crisis is primarily the fault of the Federal Reserve, which gains indirectly from bank failures, bank-owned real estate, and even more affordable cars. Production cannot be printed, but printing credit is acceptable as long as it is printed

I see the bog standard "he's been saying this for a long time, so it'll never happen" narrative all the time. So, Rosenberg saying X will happen means it won't? Curious logic. Each business cycle is different. Precise predictions are impossible. But anyone who doesn't have a keen sense that we are close to economic collapse isn't reading the signs that abound.
Rosenberg 5 years ago: "We'll have a recession next year" (no recession). 4 years ago: "recession has already started" (no recession) 2 years ago: "the risk is recession" (no recession) 1 year ago: "recession is slamming demand" (no recession) 9 months ago: "recession coming in 6 months" (no recession). Trend here ? When a recession comes, Rosenberg get zero credit.
