What are you investing that 500 bucks a month into? I been shoveling $100 a week into schd… I was going to put my next tax return in as well… in a couple of months I might be able to put 200 a week in… I really want to know where that puts me for retirement… I dont have another retirement plan.

Enjoy your life, invest if you can. Don't stress with thinking you need to do this. A lot of people can't do this! A lot of people can't achieve a job or push for a job for certain reasons to do this.

guys I'm literally crying rn… was about to end it all last month after losing everything (job, relationship, savings). That breakdown between earning vs accumulating wealth is so real. I’ve made over $900k in the last 5 years and still feel like I’m treading water. The paycheck alone doesn’t cut it anymore.
But dollar is devaluing. Even if investment go up the real value is going down.
