Today, the parents of those servicemen who were killed during the 2020 Artsakh war joined the two servicemen who are on a hunger strike in Yerevan’s Freedom Square.
On Monday, The Armenian Report interviewed hunger strikers, Nver Kirakosyan and Arthur Avagyan, who are 44-day war veterans.
The parents of deceased servicemen tried to set up a tent to join them in Freedom Square.
But they were met by police who did not allow them to put up a tent in Freedom Square.
The parents say that they will not go home from Freedom Square until the Armenian government resigns. They emphasize that their sons died for the sake of Artsakh and today the authorities are ready to hand over Artsakh to the enemy.
