Join us as we explore the incredible life of Marie Curie, a true pioneer in science and history. This biography video delves into the groundbreaking work of the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two different scientific fields: physics and chemistry.
Discover how Marie Curie, alongside her husband Pierre Curie, discovered the elements polonium and radium. Learn about her essential contributions to the field of radioactivity, a term she coined herself. We’ll also cover her selfless efforts during World War I, where she developed mobile X-ray units, or “Little Curies,” to help wounded soldiers on the battlefield. .
From her early life in Poland to her iconic work in France at the Sorbonne, this video is a must-watch for anyone interested in women in science, women’s history, and the origins of nuclear physics. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more amazing stories of scientific discovery!

This video makes it clear she wasn't just fighting with the elements; she was fighting against social prejudice. Rejected by the French Academy, caught in a public scandal, yet she still proudly accepted her second Nobel Prize. An extraordinary force of will. A truly inspiring story.
6:10… and Russia wants to over run Poland again.
Fantastic documentary and respectful to Marie's Polish nationality ❤
Madame Curie was killed by the Freemasons after being human trafficked

Its not Marie Curie, but Maria Skłodowska-Curie
I really admire her for her perseverence & her gift of using such an intelligent mind for these discoveries that put her way ahead of her time. She has paved the way for other woman scientists! 🌻💐😎
Thank you for this excellent documentary about Marie Curie.
Mr Beat recommened this channel.
Brilliant woman.
Murray was awesome.
A dedicação à filosofia,à ciencia, à especie humana é algo que tem sentido por abnegação à uma causa justa,ética e pela beleza do gesto
Lots of people are dying and talking alone about their problems or silence
The first great woman to achieve the Science Of Nobel Prize twice what she accomplished at a prestigious ceremony heroically Madame Marie Curie dreamed came true. Thank you for the great genius of Human Being who has been dedicated to sacrifice their lives for our future generations successfully worthy to be known by our educational institutions today. Thanks for sharing this important information with us and to all great students of the world and the future.May you all have a blessed day!
Don't think she s the only one
Without her research and documentation..we wouldn't have radium treatment for cancers
Marie Curie work has been ground breakin for science in general, and should always be remembered as such. Two Nobel prizes proves it.
Learned lots of new facts about her life, research, the pwriod in which she lived…rhank tou for a wonderful biography of a formidable woman.
Her name was Maria SKŁODOWKSA – Curie. She insisted on keeping her maiden name to honor her Polish heritage. It was her expressed wish to always include it. Shame so few ppl honour that now.
Hats off to a great scientist marie Curie tears came in my eyes to know about the discrimination during an those times but despite these conditions she won the Nobel prize the documentary will inspire many modern ladies in science field and I will give the latest example of Sunita Williams
She and her husband were also one of the greatest love stories of all time.
Great content. Keep it up
Science means knowledge or awareness. It's related to words like conscious and unconscious. She was killed by lack of knowledge or awareness.
She definitely wasn't "killed by science".
A very intelligent woman.
Thank you for a biography of another strong remarkable woman, one of the great women of the 20th century.
One of the greatest scientists ever!
Her life and her achievements make her one of great historical figures ever.
She certainly is one of the greatest figures in Polish history.
She was humble, but fierce, a war hero and patriot.
In my opinion, Curie remains one of history’s most remarkable scientists.
She literally gave her life for science!
She is a hero and her life and achievements deserve so much more recognition!
Young women today need to know about Curie, her life and her incredible accomplishments!
Two Nobel Prizes in two disciplines chemistry and physics.
The only scientist to be so honored!❤️💯
This is an amazing story, though sad.
Thanks to Pierre and Marie Curie, people can undergo radiation and chemotherapy for cancer. Of course it is a choice but a choice that may not have existed was it not for the work of these two giants
I hope it shows everyone how all forms of discrimination stops progress.
A PIONEER AND SCIENTIFIC TRAIL-BLAZER IN CHEMESTRY AND PHYSICS AND BULLISH DETERMINATION AND COURAGE…HEAR HEAR MARIA SALOMEA SKLODOWSKA!!!
She allegedly also went to war hospital to train for x-ray in a battlefield
Brave Poland, the nation that almost disappeared, although it had producwd such heroic figures throughout the Ages: Madame Curie, brilliant scientist who helped to save Poland ; Frederic Chopin, brilliant pianist and composer, who helped to save Poland ; Jan Padereski, great pianist, conductor and UN diplomat, who finally saw to the reestablishment of independent Poland. Madame Curie had always been an early favorite example of female greatness in the Sciences; then, I discovered Dr. Rosalind Franklin, whose two lab buddies at King's College London walked off with her discovery of the double-helix structure of DNA and what should have been her Nobel Prize, as well. She has since been recognized for her work. Since then, also, the fabulous work of female de-coders at Bletchley House, WWII, and our Corps of Black NASA mathematic whizes, on whose brilliance our Astronauts depended. MOVING ON UP, LADIES!
Just ,like my mom!
Thank you!!
She was amazing lady xx
She was both. It's because of her and others like her that females with an intrest in science and radiation can even study it and get credit for our work. She is a hero and heroine for females everywhere
This was an most excellent documentary. Thank you so very much. We owe a lot of our modern world to Our Marie. She sacrificed everything, fought through such hardship, wore her mantle in all humility, and never gave up.. all for the sake of Pure Science.. What a woman!!!
Next time focus on Madam Curie , not Politics that have nothing to do with her strident research !
Maria Skłodowska – Curie urodziła się I wychowała w Polsce, dopiero na studia wyjechała do Francji. Największa Polka wszechczasów ❤
Great commentary. Marie Curie stands amongst the great scientists who have ever lived. Certainly the greatest woman. As for the greatest, nobody comes close to sir Isaac Newton. 😊
Marie Curie…Mercury?
R.I.P. Marie Curie. May Allah Bless you. Ameen. From London, England.
Excellent documentary
Why so many single Blinking eyes? Nothing to do with the otherwise interesting narrative
Maria Skłodowska – Curie była wielką patriotką, pierwiastek POLON nazwała na cześć swojej ojczyzny Polski ❤
Enjoyed your program!!!
