Leading Armenian mobile network operator takes stake in Georgia: Business Week Armenia

📍Team Telecom, one of Armenia’s leading mobile network operators, struck a deal to take a 30% stake in the Georgian telecommunications company SkyTel.
📍The owner of Sotk, Armenia’s largest gold mine, indefinitely suspended operations due to cross-border fire from Azerbaijan.
📍Armenia will appoint trade representatives to China, Germany, and the United States, more than doubling the country’s number of commercial envoys overseas.
📍Armenia said nearly half of last year’s record economic growth could be attributed solely to “Russia-related factors.”
