It's amazing how much recipes vary from kitchen to kitchen. My family's fassoulia is a large amount of parsley, baked beans (lol), apple cider vinegar, onion and diced fresh tomatoes. VERY different from other fassoulia recipes I've seen, but it's delicious! Glad I found this version, too!

@dkalajian In fact the word itself is Ancient Greek (φάσηλος),the Roman form of the word is phaselus/phaseolus and the Modern Greek is φασόλι(fasoli).Φασόλια(fasolia) is the plural.
since when fassoulia is armenian…. lol
