A portrait, melancholic at times, yet realistic. I followed him, in a moment that slipped away, like when you try to hold sea water in your hands. Aside from a few inevitable moments of—I wouldn't say tension, but rather misunderstanding—he emerged as the man we imagined him to be. Rigorous, precise, leaving nothing to chance, the sign of an analytical, rational mind, yet capable of creating "art, beauty" yet ethereal, almost impalpable, never flaunted, or thrown at others like some of his colleagues… gripped by prima donna hysteria. The frame in Pantelleria is beautiful, where his reflections on the passing of time make it clear, even if he explains it anyway, that he was fundamentally a lonely man, partly by choice, but also out of awe of other people. The fact remains that what he created will endure over time. And the title of King George can only be his. Thank you for giving us so much, and making us dream.
