That part where he said values held even while everything slowed down hit me. Like, if things are cooling off but prices aren't dropping, what are people even supposed to do with their money right now?

It’s definitely not a sellers market I just saw a house that was on the market for 2 years listed at 2.3m and just sold for 1.3m and I get alerts all day with price cuts a sellers market was the past 2-3 years when they sold for 20-50k over asking
Assets went up in the last 4 years because of the sheer amount of money created, about 40%. More money available for a fixed amount of assets, prices go up. Simple

Inventory in Miami is rising. Prices are dropping. But I ask some coworkers and they think prices are going to keep going up. I have seen from $20k to $300k price cuts. Also you have to do your research because the realtors take down listing and put them back up. So much manipulation.

Given the present volatility of the stock market, I believe that investors should concentrate on inexpensive equities. Diversifying investments across a variety of asset classes, such as equities, bonds, and real estate, is, in my opinion, the safest strategy. This might lessen the impact of a market collapse.

Can anyone help im new to long term investments and my question is about ETF should I buy and hold in a regular brokerage account ? I already have a roth 401k with my employer and they match me. I also have a fidelity money market acount to park my money and a fidelity brokerage individual acount where I been buying ETF's on. Any advice on what type of account I should be buying ETF's on?
