Company registration still open for campus agriculture career fair
Area agricultural companies can sign up by Friday, Jan. 24, for the Harvesting the Leaders of Tomorrow Career Fair scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Satellite Student Union.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is the event’s lead sponsor, and other companies already registered are linked to banking, crop input products, construction, data, design, equipment, food products, human resources, packaging, produce, ranching, software, vineyards, wine, non-profit community organizations and military and government agencies.
Students and recent graduates are encouraged to attend for free and without advance RSVP. They should also bring resumes and wear professional attire to Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology’s largest career fair of the spring semester.
Additional resources to help students prepare for interviews, create resumes and acquire professional attire from the campus Clothing Closet are available at the Fresno State Career Development Center.
