HOLLYWOOD— The AYF Juniors Hollywood Soghomon Tehlirian Chapter has announced the inaugural recipients of the AYF Hollywood Juniors Scholarship: Arman Bedzhanyan, Pegor Baboujian, and Kaspar Tabakian.
All three recipients are high school students at Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School. Through their chapter leadership, encouragement of younger members, and commitment to their Armenian heritage, they have helped make Hollywood Juniors a welcoming community where young people are inspired to participate and contribute.
The scholarship was launched in cooperation with the AYF Western Region Juniors Central Council and the AYF Hollywood Musa Ler Chapter. A selection committee composed of members of the AYF Hollywood Musa Ler Chapter reviewed the applications and selected the recipients based on academic achievement, leadership, service, and active involvement in AYF and the broader Armenian community.
“Presenting these first scholarships was a proud and meaningful moment,” said Satig Seraydarian of the AYF Hollywood Musa Ler Chapter, who presented the awards on behalf of the chapter. “Arman, Pegor, and Kaspar demonstrate what young people can accomplish when they find a place where they belong and a purpose they believe in. We hope their example inspires more Armenian youth to get involved, bring their own ideas, and discover what they can achieve together.”
Throughout the Western Region, AYF Juniors provides young Armenians with opportunities to deepen their connection to their heritage and learn about Armenian history, culture, and issues affecting their community today. Through chapter activities and service, members build lifelong friendships, find their voices, and gain valuable leadership experience. The new scholarship recognizes the contributions of young members and encourages their continued involvement and service in the years ahead.
The AYF Juniors Hollywood Soghomon Tehlirian Chapter congratulates Arman Bedzhanyan, Pegor Baboujian, and Kaspar Tabakian on this achievement and welcomes other Armenian youth to join the chapter.
