As an Armenian I wasn't happy to see a massive US embassy in Armenia. Armenia and Iran have lived side by side for centuries and that will continue. Armenia problem is the lack of security because of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan so it must be neutral and have powerful allies itself. But it is not seeking conflict with anyone. It just want to be left alone.

Although this move is rather clumsy, occurring so close after the signing of the so called "peace" agreement with Azerbaijan via US, I think it's definitely the way to go. Pashinyan must be shown the door with the next election. Had there not been a Pahsinyan for prez, there most likely never would have been such current problems in Armenia….including the ones with the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. Although I believe that Armenia should try to maintain decent, cordial relations with its neighbors to the east and west, it's most important to keep well and viable its close, age old relations with both Russia and Iran.
