Archimedes, the brilliant ancient Greek mathematician, physicist, and engineer, revolutionized our understanding of buoyancy with his “Eureka!” moment, developed advanced war machines, and made groundbreaking contributions to geometry, including an incredibly accurate approximation of pi.

A shame that this documentary is ruined by the narrator.
Very interesting documentation. What a mastermind! Thanks for sharing this video!
30mins in & other than the archimedes screw, which is then said to possibly have already been invented, still nothing about what he invented, just a lot of history about others that came previously or scicily. Pity there aren’t chapters so you can’t go to the act😢inventions 😮
I’m usually here to fall asleep… I’ve now learned that thinking too hard about math while tired just gives me a headache.
Fantastic as always!
Greatest 😂 my kmtic black ancestors outshine them neander thals 😂anyday and all they did was stealing knowledge from them😂💪🏿

The giant mirrors burning the ships is a myth. The ancient Greeks didn't have the technology to make reflective materials that efficient.
If Archy was so smart, why didn't he invent the light bulb?
Your effort really shows.
Eureka!!! I have found this documentary!!!
sorry but this narrator really sucks.
Highly recommended content.
I can't stop watching this.
I'm impressed.
I laughed so hard.
Archimedes was so great he invented the Archimedes Screw 200 years before he was born…
Genious
A fictional character totally cooked up. For the first 800 years we hear nothing of him. Then someone after 800 years mentions him and that he knew some math but not telling us what math. Then centuries later someone credits him with a bunch of specific things, but his source is a book that he claims was burned in the library of Alexandria centuries before him. So how did he know about the content of a book that no longer existed? By word of mouth handed down. This is how the west was actively stealing material in the libraries as knowledge came from the east and credit was given to the west. Even according to western methods of historicity he is not historical nor the things credited to him. Why such inconsistency and not even mention these facts?
At that moment, someone might say: "How did they even come up with that?"
Using large single mirrors to ignite wooden boats by sunlight seems impossible considering the technology of mirrors of that times, as shown in your vid.
However, the Greek Army some years ago managed to achieve this by using a large number of much smaller mirrors, probably available at that ancient times, deployed by a company of soldiers.
Thumbs up for saying BC/AD like a proper historian.
Thanks for posting
The greatest inventor of the ancient world???
While everyone argues over politics and news, The Obscured Principles book quietly explains how the real game is played. The moment I read it, everything around me looked different. It’s like it gave me the decoder ring for reality.
I thought I understood how the world works—until I read The Obscured Principles book. It felt like someone ripped the blindfold off my eyes and showed me the architecture of control that’s been here for centuries. This isn’t just a book. It’s forbidden awareness in printed form.
They bury this kind of knowledge for a reason. The Obscured Principles book doesn’t just talk about truth—it bleeds with it. I couldn’t sleep the night I finished it. Not because I was scared… but because I finally understood why we’re kept distracted.
Math used for war… "Burning Mirrors"… (a polished chunk of quarts?) Archimedes! Very interesting! Thank you! Not sure if they could get close enough to catch something on fire, 🔥 but I'd be out testing, to find out, (with a magnifying lens)!
Scrrrrape and remove
Although the information of one of the most venerable ancient scientists is an excellent piece of historical facts, the delivery of the above was so slow and seemingly labourious, that it was very hard not to fall asleep, whilst trying to take on board what the narrator was attempting to put across.
So I'd like to award 100% for the content and only 25% for the verbal delivery.
Archimedes tackled concepts like infinity and very large numbers in works such as "The Sand Reckoner," where he calculated the number of grains of sand to fill the universe. How did his innovative mathematical approaches, including the method of exhaustion, lay the groundwork for later developments in mathematics, such as modern calculus by Leibniz and Newton, even though he lived centuries earlier

You never stop with equation when using mathematics with life an alignments like example a theory some can't continue once hindering self or allowing ones universal laws to be misconducted
My traits stand high I notice on some of there habits as natural abilities
Start from pin whole them cover circumference one hot enough leverage height angle an burns straight threw I love mirrors use them for remotes since kid also play trick on mom sisters think they still ain know an watch remote lmmfao
Me use to do this when me was little in back yard alone experimenting on Edgewood st building things when alone I'm inquisitive quiet as intelligent as kid for sure never shared intelligence with friends my time mines lol 😂😂bragger no I'm not
