The third parties were an absolute nuisance! Too easy to blame this on ZF when there were so many participants. Missle strikes, seizing property, choosing random sides, counter raids, impromptu team up's, and their own shootouts amongst each other. Random chaotic forces swirling the area outside the battlefield.
Horse girls accomplished thier mission and ate extremely well. I'd hire them as mercenaries any day!

grats on the house, appreciate the video, honestly did not expect lazerpig and the horse girls were the greatest of all time.
Rust will always sit in limbo for me, when I first played the game I joined a group of friends who had played a fair amount and knew what they were doing so I just sort of drifted around trying to help them out while I learned the ropes.
They all put in more hours than I did and understood the progression already so I didn’t pick up much and came into a bigger better base every time I’d log on.
Generally I didn’t like the game much grinding for resources was boring, building had a meta I didn’t know or care to learn and I was too shit at PVP to even have a chance at improving. I’d probably have given it up after a week and never come back to it but in the first couple of sessions playing in the evenings after work me and my friends were all online and they introduced me to another group of guys who had a similar large base together nearby.
They’d been chatting back and forth for a couple days and helping each other occasionally and the other group asked us to come over to their base.
The base was basically a big tower and on the roof these guys had built a mini amphitheater and wanted to put on a show. We then spent the next couple hours telling jokes playing music singing badly and just generally pissing around with this other group of guys we barely knew. It’s one of my best memories gaming and made me fall in love with Rust so I can’t ever say it’s a bad game but for every couple hours like that there’s been 200 more of miserable grinding so however fondly I remember Rust it sits uninstalled in my library
Honestly I'd probably quit videogames if I was these guys.
