The first cargo train carrying wheat in the past 30 years has arrived in Armenia this morning through Azerbaijani territory, after Azerbaijan lifted its restrictions on Armenian transit. The wheat came from Russia, transiting through Azerbaijan, Georgia, and into Armenia. Another train carrying wheat from Kazakhstan is due to arrive within the next two days. This is a major story, as Armenia and Azerbaijan have declared peace – and this shipment marks the first real step toward reopening regional transportation routes.

Great to see both countries trading goods instead of slurs. Peace not war, enough is enough, not just in Caucuses but all over the world including Indian subcontinent. Let those Armenians folks return to their motherland and live strive peacefully.
