The bottom line is….this country survives on people spending money. This is why everything on TV is commercials trying to get you to spend money. It's funny that channels like this are trying to teach you to invest and save your money but the truth is if everyone did that this economy would collapse. This economy NEEDS people to spend money. Yep. Last week a relative was asked to retire early at age 55. The factory is letting 150 people go. My brother is delivering less loads of fuel and Hyvee isn’t EVEN trying to keep customers with their absurd grocery prices. A friend in agriculture said the Tarriffs are hurting. Five farmers committed suicide due to having to sell their generational farms to corporations because they can’t make it anymore. I’ve been selling into strength not exiting but building up my cash reserves. I can see what’s happening on the front lines. Wallstreet doesn’t function in the real world nor does our government. The rates should have dropped ages ago. Covid was so stupid. Now we live like it never happened yet our world is permanently changed and not for the better.

The creation of the federal reserve bank so-called about 100 years ago was one of the nails in the coffin of free market capitalism. Everyone waits to see what the federal reserve bank does with interest rates which drives people’s money costs up or down, depending on what those clowns decide to do. They should not have any control over any economy..
