Because how come the furies didn’t take the off a person who LITERALLY served the gods but want to go after a person who served
Specifically “greek” mythology is the dumbest stories I ever heard of it’s SO illogical
The limits of reason
At least Odyssseus wasn’t murdered when he finally came home
How do you view the Erinyes or furies? Are they in their head like a bad trip or spirits or like 3 mean chicks following you around everywhere, yelling and throwing stuff? Imagine trying to take a dump and having to deal with that non stop. That'd be terrible.
I figured out what happened to Cassandra’s soul after her death. She was barred from going to the afterlife, due to a simple rejection she made against Apollo’s advance on her, and as a result, rather than fading away from existence entirely, her soul was trapped within a sarcophagus, with her mouth sewed up tightly, making it impossible to speak out any prophecy that no one would ever believe her about. But this was no punishment for her by the gods for her defiance from earlier, but to make sure she doesn’t tell any other souls in the Underworld that the gods had actually orchestrated the Trojan War in order to eliminate overpopulation, which was a biggest threat to their rule, as well as the fact that they don’t know what to do with her. Later on, after Ares defeated the rest of the Olympians and exiled them from meddling in mortal affairs, he decided to stay behind to release Cassandra’s soul from her imprisonment, giving her back her ability of persuasion, in exchange for having her reincarnate in Ancient Egypt, where she’ll be believed by everyone there unlike those in either Greek or Troy. Cassandra accepted the offer and traveled to Egypt, while Ares had rejoined the Gods. An okay ending for a discredited prophetess.
People who bicker in the comments about if this revenge was valid or not, don't forget, y'all commoner, you get no say in neither.
Valid or not, the Monarchy and their nobles supporter will still send you bloke to your doom, killing other commoner.
There is no winner here, common peoples suffers.
CASSANDRA DESERVED BETTER
I with these came with a bibliography. Like which literary source(s) are these stories being drawn from.
If Casandra had already see the future why did she ran to see what's happened?
Mark the last word of The Furies!! The New Gods have thrown rubbish to all the traditions of the past. It is the same that an ancient female infested dark cult would do to keep their children under torment n control. It was Democratic governance of the New Gods replaced the ancient dark faith that consumed Primal Greece!! ATHENIAN Democracy all the way!!
Agamemnon killed his daughter, Iphigenia so too deserving his fate…
My new exclamation, instead of "by Odin's Beard!", is now, "ATHEN'S THIGH!"
Agamemnon as famous as he is. Is not more famous than Achilles
Yeah, horrible myth. Murdering your kin is inexcusable. His father Agammemnon sacrificed his other sister alive. He was a horrible man and deserved the fate that befell him. Cursed be the house of Tantalus
The fact that Apollon held no past anger of Oresteia because he is Greek is surprising. Cause he fought on the side of the Trojans. Most Gods tend to hold onto their grudges.
I hate Agamemnon. He deserved to die.
In the movie Troy, Agamemnon was stabbed in the neck by Briseus it was FATALITY!!😎
Thanks for another good video ⚔️
Journey to the west day 28

.
Poor Cassandra.
Despite the fact that he killed his own mother, his reason for revenge is valid.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Can you do the Persian mythology?
The great story of death and wat
👍😊👏 Wow. Good. Very good complete story of The Oresteia A Revenge Story in Greek Mythology history. Now that was wonderful story love it!
Agamemnon and his children were descendants of Tantalus?😮😲⁉️
In the modern world, those who consider them only as myths and legends, discounting it's validity, it's really those that need to acknowledge that there are many powers and principalies of darkness that have been in this world before time began. The GOD OF ALL GODS, CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, WHO SENT HIS ONLY SON, IS NOT A MYTH OR LEGEND. IT WOULD BEHOOVE THEM TO SEE WHAT IS REALITY.

Could Shakespeare have inspired by this story when he wrote "Hamlet"? (He could have also used the blood on the hands when he wrote "Macbeth".)
