The Armenian Genocide isn’t a story of the past. It happens still today. This series aims at showing how Armenians are facing this threat to this day, and how denial has a key role in its accomplishment. As Dr. Gregory Stanton says, “denial is actually a continuation of the genocide.”
1: ACCORDING TO GENOCIDE SCHOLARS
This first video will give a brief summary of the tragedies beginning in 1915, and continue with arguments used by genocide scholars against denial.

both are non whites
Most modern turks are descended from Greeks, Aryans and Armenians. You can see it in their features, they look nothing like central asian mongoloids. Armenians are still there, they just speak Turkish and converted to Islam.
Turkey is one of the most evil countries to ever exist.
loool armenians are not white they are looking like arabs kurds iranians

What? Kurds have always lived peacefully alongside Armenians! Of course conflicts have occurred between these two great peoples. But i really hope this isn't the case for the future, as i have GREAT respect for both of these peoples. And yes, Turkey does DENY their wrong doings. Instead of accepting it and trying to build a better future, they desperately keep trying to Turkify the minorities. They should let loose of Ataturk and Kemalism. But they haven't and that have make the so called "minorities", who are actually in great numbers, create rebellions, such as the PKK.
I don't want death to Turks either, but what i do want is to get them awakened, and give back historical lands, and accept the truth.
Btw not to be inpolite but the native American genocide was the first and the biggist genocide in history btw two continants north and south America millions prob. Billons btw I recognize the Armenian and the Amerindian genocides turkey is full of shit
It's all about invasion and multiplication, That's why we need weapons and more babies
First White genocide happened in 1864 Muslims Circassians i mean REAL CAUCASIANS
forced out their Homelands by Tzarist Russia killed in the roads.
Even they never try to kill every non muslim inhabitants in the are in order to gain their independence…
Armenians rebelled and try to reach independence via ethnic cleansing in the middle of the way russian empire collapse and they loose the all power, then Turks,Kurds,Laz,Zaza's gets their revenge.
Christian hypocrys at best as usual
To all you who say that Armenians are not white, well they are fools! They are of the same race as Europeans, and even Arabs are very close, so are Jews, in fact in the Northern Hemisphere the only two distinct groups are eastern Asian, i.e Japanese and Chinese, and Western Indo-Europeans, the descendents of mostly Aryans and other White-Europeans, and if you didn't already know, Armenia was the first Christian nation, and so the first European! My wife is Armenian and trust me she's white!
@Nicollie1062 The international courts and,Malta trials where droped because of lack of evidence where is the ton of evidence u talk about,u would think if there was so much evidence it would be brought to the courts its been 95 years.Congress can pass as many votes as they want, their not scholers or historians they should do their job and leave history to the historians.
@izaak1211 dude..there is tons of proof..not just hearsay. Even some of the Turkish people confessed. 20 countries recognize it as a genocide. There were reporters from other countries etc. Who cares about U.N conventions..formalities and such. Most scholars and historians and normal people know that it happened. A "no" or "yes" by the U.N means nothing about whether it happened or not.
@Nicollie1062 In the international law the Armenian claims of genocide fail to meet the minimum standards of proof required by the U.N Convections so until there is more proof not hearsay Turkey is innocent until proven guilty.
@izaak1211 not fake..my great grandmother barely escaped with her life. and neither she, nor I especially, have any reason to make that up.
@PetekFanBetul It shows you didn't even bother watching the video. Joke's on you.
@Azerbaijanec78 I let you talk many times, hoping that something intelligent would come out of your mouth, but you're a disgrace to your own nation by showing how sickeningly impolite and uneducated you are. I'll do your nation a favor and block you.
all turks should juz go back to mongolia…..
sikim neslivizi … kokuvuzu kesmesey,esseyimiz öldü……
@AzeriNationalist How stupid. You clearly didn't watch or understand the video.
So you're saying Arabs are hairy and ugly? With a "beautiful" guy like Aliyev as my president, I'd avoid insulting Arabs, you're opening your doors for embarrassment.
So far, I haven't read anything intelligent from you, and I don't think that will change. That's one more idiot blocked. I'm actually doing Azerbaijan a favor by blocking douchebags like this. People won't see how idiotic their statements are anymore.
These things are done in a deliberate and yet "subtle" way to undermine and debase the Armenian Genocide. I read similar comments all the times in the Turkish newspapers some other newspaers too.I have one reply for them, a very nice Arabic saying" Don't teach an orphan how to cry"
The fact THAT there….***
Good point krikor. The fact there there were other genocides doesn't mean we need to overlook the Armenian Genocide. If there was a Circassian genocide, it shouldn'T be forgotten, but it shouldn't be a reason to say "well, why doesn't Russia recognize the Circassian genocide?" If there was a Circassian genocide, then I urge Russia to recognize it and pay reparations immediately.
Yes, I am working on them but new issues have come to my head and new personal matters give me less time to work on these, so I postponed this series. I am planning on completing it though, that's for sure (the next one should be done soon, as in by the end of feb or beginning of march).
Yes, but this is an Armenian Genocide video. I'm always "amazed" but not amused, if you get my drift, that whenever there is a discussion about the recognition or the consequences of the Armenian Genocide, everybody starts talking about all the other genocides, whether the Red Indian genocides or anything elsr. I'm well aware of all the other injustices and atrocities that have taken place in history ,but here, we are discussing the A.G.and its implications. Let's not go off the subject!
I was in a state of shock for a long time — I suddenly saw the world through different eyes, said Ms. Cetin, now 60. I had grown up thinking of myself as a Turkish Muslim, not an Armenian. There had been nothing in the history books about the massacre of a people that had been erased from Turkeys collective memory. Like my grandmother, many had buried their identity — and the horrors they had seen — deep inside of them.
Ms. Cetins grandmother, whose parents later turned out to have escaped to New York, was just one of many Armenian children who were kidnapped and adopted by Turkish families during the Armenian genocide, the mass killing of more than a million Armenians by the Ottoman Turks between 1915 and 1918. These survivors were sometimes called the leftovers of the sword.
ISTANBUL — Fethiye Cetin recalled the day her identity shattered.
She was a young law student when her beloved maternal grandmother, Seher, took her aside and told her a secret she had hidden for 60 years: that Seher was born a Christian Armenian with the name Heranus and had been saved from a death march by a Turkish officer, who snatched her from her mothers arms in 1915 and raised her as Turkish and Muslim.
The New York Times. 5th January 2010A Family Tree Uprooted by a 60-Year-Old Secret " This is an interesting and mocving article for those who want to find out what happened to the Armenians during the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and the fate of some of those Armenian children who were abducted by the Turks and brought up as Turks.
Long Live Armenia! Down with the enemies of Armenia! Down with the enemies of truth and justice!
"We stood in the way of Turkey's reality"……but of course we did. So did the Greeks, and the Assyrians. We were the sophisticated race, we were the intelligent ones,we were the builders, the artists, musicians ,linguists. We were everything that the Turks weren't and are not. We were the ones with the sublime thoughts, ideas and deeds. Turks are still stuck in the dark ages with their dark and morbid thoughts. Armenians were able to rise from the ashes! We have always been the light!
amen yekhpayr
It's a pleasure to support any vidoe that brings more and more awareness to our cause. Unfortunately genocide does not end with the killing of a nation or a race. The aftermath of most genocides is the real horror story that the survivers have to cope with. Our only hope should rest with the determination and efforts of the Armenians world wide to preserve our noble culture and continue our struggle against any barbaric regime that try to suppress us and therefore suppress the truth and justice!
Turkey should be names and shames 24/7 ! What have the Turks ever contributed to the world? Nothing except Genocides! Genocides of the Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians ,just to mention a few. Even the Arabs were not spared under the Ottoman rule! Turkey still persecutes its minorities ! Turkey is a barbaric country stuck in dark ages!
Ketse Hayastan! Anetsk tshnamoon!
Apres
i note you made mistake by saying WHEN WE INVADE its not invade ,its liberate !! very vefy vefy big difference ,word invade means the lands belong to turks which is NOT !!
you forgot to mention genocides of Armenians in Iran to by Othman turkey in KHOY ,MAKU, SALMAS , the famous genocide of KHOY in 1915 !! turkes also did genocide in Javaxk with help of georgians another fuck country !so its not in western Armenia turks continued in Iran and Georgia too complete inhalation of Armenian nation ,if there was not Battle of SARDARABAT eastern Armenia also would have gone by turks !!!the video is great !
it should be clarified that, like in all wars, most civilians didn't take sides ro take up arms…and in this case, most Armenians were not supporters of a rebellion against the ottoman empire…but were betrayed by the established government anyways…this is the convenient excuse turk revisionists use today for the ethnic cleansing.
