something i've noticed throughout these videos i'm hoping to see improvement on:
when asking questions to the translator the questions are phrased as "can you ask him…", "does he..", "can he…" etc, i was taught this is disrespectful to the person you're actually speaking to, since its not treating the person as an equal or an actual person. when i went abroad the first time, we were taught to ask the person the questions and the translator will translate, not direct questions/comments to the translator to ask the person. i've noticed this throughout these series but since these videos are coming out a year later, wasn't sure if this was ever changed/discussed. does this get improved on? i know you guys don't mean any harm so wanted to make sure you're aware!
