An automated system to regulate a village’s mushroom harvest is just one of the many innovations created by the 17,000 Armath students. The engineer-run non-profit implemented by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE) enhances tech education across Armenia. UATE CEO Sargis Karapetyan explains how the nationwide Armath engineering labs bring technology and STEM learning to over 650 schools, many in rural regions, preparing students for high-tech careers. He also discusses UATE’s flagship annual event, DigiTec, which serves as a global stage for showcasing Armenia’s tech talent, innovations, and potential to both local and global audiences.
