Who is visiting Armenia, how much are they spending, and what does that reveal about the country’s tourism potential?
Visa presented its new Visitor Dynamics Study on September 9, using cross-border spending data to examine visitor behavior and tourism trends in Armenia. CivilNet speaks with Diana Kiguradze, Visa’s Regional Manager for the Caucasus and Moldova, about the findings and what they could mean for the sector.

The intro seemed very interesting but soon the discussion turned into full blown Visa PR exclusive, hoped to hear ; details such as Seasonality patterns , share of GDP , how much financial transactions made per tourist and amount if possible vs how many visited , digital footprint , destination source … Visa PR can be included within these and others …
I visited Armenia this year and it is a stunning country with stunning people and with a lot of (untapped) potential. I drove from Yeravan to Dilijan and back to Tatev and Goris and the scenery is just breath taking. Next year I plan to come back and explore the Syunik region, from Kapan to Meghri.
