“If I wanted to destroy the U.S. dollar, I couldn’t do a better job than what this government is doing,” says Ken Hoffman, head of commodity strategy at Red Cloud and former global metals expert at McKinsey and Bloomberg Intelligence. Speaking with Daniela Cambone, Hoffman highlights how de-dollarization and central bank gold buying are driving gold toward new highs.
“Midterm $5,000 an ounce is a fairly easy target, but $10,000 plus… the world is almost returning to a gold standard in some ways.” On copper, Hoffman points to a lack of coherent U.S. strategy, which is contributing to the dollar’s decline and causing market instability. Is the world quietly moving back toward a gold standard? Watch Ken Hoffman break it down.

What are juniors?
I agree with Ken that gold will continue to climb, astronomically maybe…but I think he's sadly mistaken on the use of tariffs and trade. Powell was wrong on the tariffs too. They have already made the US billions. His theory of de-dollarization is correct, except for the fact that not one country wants to be left out of the US economy in the short term. They can't simply drop the use of the dollar tomorrow, they'll go broke, just look at China earlier this year.
It really not a U.S. dollar.. its a Federal Reserve note. Which is a private bank and nothing to do with U.S. Government. This guy is actually advocating for more U.S. debt to feed this corrupt system. Globalist hack!
3 -4 years? BS
I think, when America took Russia off the Swift System of payment, that started the end of the dollar 💵
I disconnected when Hoffman stated “…he [Trump] wants to pull us [the US] away from free, fair trade…”. which is completely inaccurate!! Most of the U.S. trading partners tariff US expirts. When the U.S. tariffs imported goods, the tariff levels the playing field and creates a ‘balanced trade’ environment. It promotes free, fair trade. Get with it Hoffman.
Don’t agree with Hoffman….he clearly leans in one direction…..(if you know what I mean).
Free trade requires fair trade. That has been where the globalists have scammed the US. Central banks are the mechanism of that scam and need to be dissolved. Tariffs are actually a very good way to wrest the world away from the globalist's central bank scamming system. Do yourself a favor and read a little history.
Tariffs are a distraction, the real issue is the U.S. Dollar. Using the dollar as the World’s reserve, is the root problem but the controller's don’t want to surrender that power.

Investors are pouring into gold again—and it’s not just a flight to safety; it’s a major signal. The rising U.S. Treasury rollover risk is spooking the markets, and it’s causing people to question the long-term reliability of government debt.
wrong in your reasoning tho. The tariffs strapped to other countries is paid by you . They all had tariffs agiant USA forever. Nasty, they like screwing the US they dont giving it up.
I’m curious why everyone blames Trump, what about Biden, Obama, and Bush just to name a few? Don’t get me wrong I believe all politicians are corrupt!
I’m a firm believer in gold, and from an economic standpoint, I agree with much of what you’re saying. But your comment reads like we should just keep letting ourselves get exploited—while our industrial base disappears and other nations grow rich at our expense. You bash U.S. tariffs as destructive, yet you fail to mention that these same countries have been running protectionist policies and tariffs against us for decades. Not once do you acknowledge that imbalance. So I have to ask, Mr. Hoffman—whose side are you really on? And if things are really going to get as bad as you suggest, with countries turning their backs on us, then maybe it’s time we go into those countries and make them pay back the trillions they’ve siphoned from us over the years.
50/50
He fails to mention that our trade imbalance is NOT good for America. Trump is just trying to level the playing field and bring back jobs to the country. That's not a bad thing for Americans.
Interesting Show 🙂 But, The Show, also invites questions?
So What? If the current Administration policies, devalue the $ and discourage trade?
Shouldn't that aid domestic production & consumption?
Why should, The US, support the rest of the world, by imports & treasury bond investment?
At the expense of their own bankruptcy? Yes, In This, Context of Transition – Go for Bullion? 🙂
So, with the US law being passed recently, are we looking at a USD dominant 1:1 and then commodity backed USD. We're talking about a basket of commodities like gold, silver, and oil…. its been oil for most of my life. What will the tech side of stablecoins do to gold-backed stablecoins and the speed at which they will be traded?
Dump Trump the traitor, killing America for the Zionist that backed his campaign
well buy gold and be part of the rise,,, why sleep walking??? indicates people are stupid,,, well some just are they are happy following
Great clarity. Thanks 👍
I trust President Trump and what he is doing in place of this ANTI TRUMP CLOWN.
