*2018 **+73% ***Consolidation ****~14% range before reclaim
*2022 **+63% ***Rejection ****~22% retracement
*2026 **+40.5% ***Rejected / *****Below 50W SMA Still developing
This puts the current rally into perspective.
Bitcoin’s 40.5% recovery is impressive.
But compared with previous bear-market rallies, it is certainly not out of the ordinary.
Previous cycles produced rallies of approximately 63%, 73% and even almost 90% while Bitcoin was still working through its bottoming process.
So the size of the rally is not necessarily what matters most.
What stands out across these charts is Bitcoin’s relationship with the: 50 Week SMA
In every example, this moving average became an important battleground during the transition out of the bear market.
Sometimes Bitcoin rejected from it.

I had shorted that on 118400, 4 btc and I am waiting for 41k. I am very certain about that and current upmove was just because of bond buying back new from US as they are doubling it. The moment they have announced that, it rose immediately. So, wait for somedays and we will start going up again after 1.5 years. Cheers!

Thoughts on Hype?
Bitcoin is now primarily a wealth-preservation asset, not the strongest wealth-creation asset for someone starting with limited capital. If you already have substantial wealth, BTC makes sense as a long-term store of value. But if your goal is to build meaningful wealth, you may need carefully selected assets with greater asymmetric upside. Take profits as those investments mature, then rotate part of the gains into Bitcoin. The mistake is treating BTC as though it still offers the same upside it did ten years ago.I Would say More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.i have managed to grow a nest egg of around 85k to a decent 532k in the space of a few months.Thanks again Adriana Mcgrath, for the regular updates,..

I wouldn't short ANYTHING on Bitcoin OR go long. They just had BTC go up to 81K, and wiped out the longs. Remember 10/10/25 regarding shorts..
Bitcoin is a biometric slave collar built for an extortion-based-surveillance-state.
The world you bought crypto in doesn’t exist anymore. You were dispossessed, law by law and every reason you bought into crypto has vanished. At this point crypto is a glorified coupon. Anything digital is not owned, if you do not control the infrastructure. You do not control it, nor do you have rights in any jurisdiction. You can be remotely banned and confiscated for any reason.
Crypto security is a red herring when it can be totally subverted with a single law, at any level of policy, be it municipal, state, federal or corporate. That could be as simple as locking you biometrically into an exchange rate that steals all you have and traps you at the infrastructure level. Fines, fees, double, triple, quadruple taxation, literally anything goes, instantly.
All you got, was biometrically trapped in a system designed by extortionists…
