Yeah… BUT 10,000 in 1942 would be like investing 180,000$ today
The most important question is: How much of this wealth can you take with you, when your "number comes up"?
the problem is politics. the more the left has influence, the worse America gets. 🙁
This was when America was great and the war was from the outside not like today when the war is in politics.
So everybody is falling for this nice little tale. What Warren doesn’t tell you, is that $10,000 at that time would be worth around $180,000 today. I am sure everyone has 180k to forget into an index fund for the next 50 years. Lol 😂

What a sales pitch by buffet to sell buy and hold at a time when he is liquidating assets to be in a cash position to scoop up some new assets down the road.
If you know what you are doing, and the markets are in your favour, it is possible to be very profitable. You have to work with the markets. There are people who managed to turn $50K in to several millions over 15 to 20 years. Lots of time, learning, huge dedication, and taking chances are involved. Any working person who can get the required start funds together can do this.
The easy way is to buy the proper viable worth while companies and let the money sit and do nothing, you could be very successful. You do not have to be an investment genius. Only one good decision would have been required! Today the easy way would be with the proper types of index funds.
I like to be optimistic, but I just don’t have the confidence that America in general is gonna thrive in the future…… Bad news, war, etc is one thing but it sure is looking like we’re on a downhill slide now. Hopefully things will turn around, but I don’t see how.
Neglect the need from majorities
The investment because we need to control wars not to spread. And inflation. It moves in the things we did want to deal with.
Why we bother to go to elect the candidate.
Which we never elect his families to run home land securities.
That is the corruption
The families run his responsible home land tasks.
We rejected him.
You know Trump. He also want the same.
I want earn but not end up in prison.
Without projects and developments all can not keep up inflation and broke with project and development he make projects and developments stall and be billionair.
While he earned the most. Who want something like that in projects and development
The earning from Warren. That put more workers in the join with him that majorities loss principal.
Step 1: go back 50yrs to when America was establishing itself as an economic power.
Step 2: throw money at any random stock from top 10 companies.
Step 3: hold for 50yrs
Done. Wow what a genius lol
