Mark climbing down the train rather than up is a perfect example of a high INT low WIS character.
This comment is late in coming, but IRL as someone who has kind of bad inner ear damage, if you start to lose balance, just keep moving. There's always a chance to correct your misstep with the next step. Semi-quick, continual steps are the way to go. At least IRL.
