Trump will insist on QE, and will sustain a new flavor of fiscal irresponsibility, but that alone will not 'cause inflation.' As long as interest rates fall, so will consumer prices and non-monetary commodity prices. Housing, stocks, and bond prices will rise as will income inequality. This policy is yet more extend and pretend. Yes, it is adding fuel to what will someday be a totally disasterous fire. But that fire only lights up when QT finally catches up with the can kickers. Inflation is linked to high interest rate structures. This is extremely well documented. It may lead or it may lag, they are two sides of the same coin, and it is not always a 'monetary' issue. You show Bernenke's smug face, but cannot show any hard 'inflation' from his term. This is Quantity Theory of Money, linear logic, BS. If it was true, the Fed might actually be a good idea. It is, however, false.
