I think Buffet is just a fed . Pumped up by the Gov to peak interest in Stock market. all he does is perfect trades and math. Nothing to see here besides alot of capital

When the company rebuys shares…they buy them from investors and they just go back into the company so they sort of disappear? that's the only thing i dont get but all else makes sense

Since HP is buying back it's own share the market cap shrinks, because they are reducing their cash and increasing their equities. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stock prices are only increasing because of the yield

I would urge everyone to take a look at Overstock ticker $OSTK.
Stock is trading at only 38$ and is almost 70% below it's 52 week high, but contrary to all other growth counterparts which make no money and deserve to come down… Overstock is ACTUALLY PROFITABLE with a P/E of only 11!
The company has almost no debt and is an average BUY with analysts.
The problem is the stock is shorted at 17.5% and in the past few days the relative volume is at 0.5… If Volume would go up the shorts would cover and the stock would go back into the 50s which is where it was only 2 weeks ago.
My longs are Google, Meta and Suncor. ⬆️
