The reason why Biden didn't request the Epstein files are 2-fold. 1. Maxwell was being investigated/prosecuted at the time so it is not legally smart to open a similar investigation while Maxwell's is pending. Duh! 2. Merrick Garland was doing EVERYTHING he could do to not politicize it (actually too much so). AND, actual past Presidents didn't demand DOJ opened files! That is NOT under the executive function of our government. It is judicial.
