Մայր Աթոռը հայտարարել է, որ գերաշնորհ Միքայել արքեպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանին և ազգային բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանին կալանքի տակ պահելը երկարացնելու որոշումներով դատարանը հերթական անգամ ոտնահարեց արդարադատությունը՝ կրկին պարզորոշ դարձնելով իշխող քաղաքական ուժից դատարանների լիակատար կախվածությունը: Մայր Աթոռը նկատել է, որ նման անհիմն որոշումներով արդարադատությունը ձեռք է բերում պատժիչ նշանակություն, իսկ դատարանները վեր են ածվում ազատ խոսքի և կրոնի ազատության բռնաճնշման գործիքի:
