Walmart’s New Game Day Basket Feeds 8 People for Each

Walmart wants football fans to know that it’s making it easier than ever to prep for your game day viewing parties.

On Wednesday, the Arkansas-based big box chain announced that it’s launching a new curated Game Day spread that’s meant to feed up to eight people, making the cost just $8 per person. The spread, it added, will be available now through February 9, both in-store and via Walmart.com/gameday

As for what’s in the new meal basket, Walmart says it includes 13 items in total, all of which are “customer favorites” from national brands and the chain’s private labels. “Perfect for hosting the ultimate watch party, this full feast for eight people includes wings, chips and dips, soda, and more,” it added. Here are the specifics:

  • Rotel Original Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, 10 ounces
  • Velveeta Original Melting Cheese Dip Sauce Classic Size, 32-ounce block
  • Tostitos Scoops! Party Size Tortilla Chips, 14.5-ounce bag
  • Bettergoods Roasted Sweet Corn Salsa, Medium, 16 ounces
  • Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips, 9.25-ounce bag
  • Great Value Fully Cooked Homestyle Meatballs, 32 ounces
  • Bettergoods Traditional Competition Style BBQ Sauce, 18 ounces
  • Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies Smoked Sausage, 28 ounces

  • Great Value All Natural Chicken Wing Sections, 4 pounds
  • Frank’s RedHot Kosher Buffalo Wings Hot Sauce, 12-ounce bottle

And if you need to order alcoholic beverages for your party, Walmart says it has you covered there, too. Just check its Winemakers Selection to find brand-name beers, mixed cocktails, and spirits, all of which are available for both pick-up and delivery in some states.

Walmart is also offering other selections of game day favorites on its website, along with snacks that are best served while rooting for your favorite team. However, if you really want to go all out for the Super Bowl, then it’s time to check out Food & Wine’s 57 recipes for dips, nachos, wings, and more, that will draw more attention than the plays on the field. At the very least, it will keep people full through half-time.
