I must say I disagree with the title as the “Persian empire” when in reality the Safavids were of Kurdish decant yes the Safavids were called the state of Iran or expansive state of Iran but the reality iran was only one region the dynasty were home to multiple regions such as iran Kurdistan azerbeycan khuarsan and the Caucasus. I would prefer for the Safavids the Kurdish dynasty instead of Persian because Persians didint contribute at all😂 the Kurds made the Safaviyah order, the Qizilbaş, and Sah Ismail founded the state itself Sah Ismail have a poem where he says I am of Heyderian lineage my essence of Heyderid referring to hes dad its pretty save to Kurdish. The qizilbaş=military regiments of the Safavid dynasty were made up of 70% Turk 15% Kurd 5% Kartvelian/Georgian 0% persian and Kingdom of Kakheti was actually Georgian not Armenian. The qajars however were Turks so funny enough😂 neither the qajars or Safavids were Persians the Safavid dynasty belong to Kurdistan and Kurdish culture not Turkish or Persian the Persians excuse for the Safavids is that Kurds are another Iranian people therefore they can claim our history when in reality the Persians haven’t had an empire since Alexander conquere the Achaemenis empire aka the one and only persian empire in summary Safavid☀️ Qajar🇦🇿 get it? Go to vikipedia oxford California uni, Cambridge Britannica they would all agree with me your logic of Persian empire just because the Kurds or the Turks came and conquere Iran from one another dosent make them Persian then is the Macedonian empire Persian now? Because they conquered persia? No! The Safavids were decanted of Kurdistan the name “Safavid” is a Kurdish clan name derived from Safi aldin Safavid the one who founded the Safaviyah order
You forget afsharide empier
Both have gun and canone but ruusian number is much morthan persian
there are no such thing a ''russo-persian wars''. Persians at that time was serf of Turkish ruling elite called Kızılbash and little to no influnce over state
4:00 The lands Russia captured in the second war weren't returned to the Qajars, the Qajars rose like 40 years later! The lands were returned to the restored Iran under the Safavids and soon, the Afsharids. Also I think the Tsar had good reasons for returning those lands: The Man responsible of the resurgence of Safavid Iran, Nader Qoli, who soon became Nader Shah, was brilliant general, called by some "the Napoleon of the East". He defeated both Ottomans and Afghans in a short time and even went on to invade India.
Safavid and Qajar dynasties were not different entities that "occupied what is now modern day Iran" they were modern day Iran, Safavid dynasty was "The State of Iran" or "The Expansive Realm of Iran" and Qajar dynasty was "The Sublime State of Iran"
😄here again
Pretty good content, u combine humour + historic information. Pleased to have u as a way of getting information for my history essays. Ty!!! 😀😀😀
Enjoyed your video. There is limited to no YouTube content on the conflicts between these two countries (in English anyway) so thanks for covering the topic. If I could offer a little constructive criticism; at the end of many sentences your voice trails off on the last couple of words almost as if you’re walking away from the microphone or that you ran out of breath. Not being able to make out what was said I had to rewind more than a couple of times to catch those quiet words. I enjoyed it anyway and look forward to more content from you.
Emperor of Russia, Paul the first was a really good leader, he was traumatised during his childhood by how his mother took care for him, she saw him as a plotter and always didn't let him interfere in poltical affairs , he even wanted to ally with Napoléon and liked his Liberal ideas and ban serfdom, but his son plotted against him and was killed by Russian soldiers.
