Krispy Kreme Unveils Heart-Shaped Doughnuts for Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air, and it smells like freshly baked doughnuts.

On Monday, Krispy Kreme unveiled its latest limited-edition doughnuts with its all-new Hearts in Bloom Collection, which it explains is “an exquisite arrangement of four heart-shaped doughnuts in a customized flower bouquet box.” 

The collection is available today through Valentine’s Day, giving you plenty of time to buy a box for the people you hold dear. The doughnuts include the You Make My Daisy Doughnut, an unglazed heart doughnut filled with white kreme, dipped in strawberry-flavored icing, drizzled with yellow icing, and then topped with a daisy candy piece. There’s also the Love You Bunches Doughnut, another unglazed heart doughnut, this time filled with chocolate kreme, then dipped in red icing, drizzled with green stems, and topped with pink and red confectionery curls. Then, we have the Blooming Heart Doughnut, an unglazed heart doughnut filled with cookies & kreme filling, then dipped in purple icing and sprinkled with hearts in bloom sprinkles, and finally, there’s the You Are My Sunshine Doughnut, one more unglazed heart doughnut filled with caramel flavored Kreme, dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with a green stem, and topped with a sunflower candy piece. 

“Our Hearts in Bloom Collection is perfect for sharing love and appreciation for anyone special in your life this Valentine’s Day,” Dave Skena, the chief growth officer of Krispy Kreme, shared. “They might like flowers, but they’ll love our beautiful and delicious flower doughnuts. They are perfect for sweethearts, family, friends, and co-workers.” 

The Hearts in Bloom Collection is available both in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website, and can be purchased individually or by the dozen. Customers can also find the Hearts in Bloom Collection in one of the Krispy Kreme six-packs delivered to select retailers every day. (Find the closest retailer to you at krispykreme.com.) 

However, this isn’t the only new product the Charlotte-based chain launched this month. On January 6, it also released three new doughnuts in partnership with Pop-Tarts: the Pop-Tarts Frosted Strawberry Doughnut, the Pop-Tarts Frosted Chocolatey Fudge Doughnut, and the Pop-Tarts Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Doughnut. These are also only available for a limited time, so get them while you can.
