Kate Middleton appears to be taking the higher road in her feud with estranged sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, after a major setback.
The Duchess of Sussex, in her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, had claimed that it was actually Kate who made her cry ahead of her wedding in 2018.
There were also rumours of a clash between King Charles’ two daughters-in-law. While the two women were at odds with one another, the Princess of Wales is choosing to turn the other cheek especially after Prince Harry and Meghan were hit with a new setback.
In the latest report by Vanity Fair, claims of bullying from former staff emerged a second time. According to a Closer Magazine source, Kate is not surprised by the claims but at the same time does not wish any ill will.
“Even though their new life in America doesn’t appear to be going the way they want it to, Kate would never take pleasure out of revelling in that,” the insider told the outlet. “She doesn’t wish harm on anyone.”
The source added that Kate “had tried her very best with Meghan and was blamed for making her cry.”
“Now it seems a lot of people are coming out of the woodwork, and Kate can’t say that she is surprised by it all – none of the royal family can,” they continued.
The source reiterated that when it comes to Meghan, Kate “really has no ill-will towards her”
“She wishes the best for them both, and hopes that they can find a smoother way of living life outside of the royal family, which is, after all, what they have chosen to do.”
Since her cancer battle last year, Kate has been working as a mediator between Prince Harry and Prince William. The Princess has a changed perspective on the rift from when it began a few years ago.
It is possible that the message of peace could culminate into a truce between the royal family and Sussexes.
