Jodi Sta. Maria said she is the type of person who leaves the new year “up to God.” While she’s more “intentional” with her prayers for 2025, she nonetheless said that she accepted certain moments in her life that happened out of her control.

“Every year, I just leave it up to God kung ano ‘yung surprises. Minsan, may mga blessings na dumating na hindi ko naman [pinagdasal] or inexpect before. May [moments] naman, sinagot niya ang panalangin ko,” Sta. Maria said during the “Lavender Fields” media junket.

“Ngayong 2025, mas naging intentional ako sa ilang bagay pero may ilang bagay that is out of my control. I leave it up to Him,” she further explained.

(Every year, I just leave the surprises up to God. Some blessings happen in my life even if I never prayed for it. There are moments when He answers my prayers. In 2025, I’m more intentional about certain things. But since things are happening out of my control, I leave it up to Him.)
