We garo tribe from northeast India also has similar story. A goddess named susume gave birth to different creature humans n animals n all kinds but lastly she gave birth to a fire n died. N because the goddess died because of fire , fire was chased out n banished from earth so he went down to earth n lived there. Later Fire was needed and so people sent numerous people n animals to get fire. But fire disagree with them because they banished him but later because of their constant begging he gave a little bit of himself for the people on earth.
Naruto brought me here and here is to hoping Kratos will eventually clash with this mythology. If Tyr is pulling out a Japanese weapon in Valhalla, hopefully we see Kratos in Japan at some point.

Amaterasu coming out of the cave is really touching and symbolic that no matter what you’re beautiful and you have a light that you can share with the world, don’t take that light away or hide it from the world.
