The Jacksonville Jaguars are picking in the top five once again, and you could make the argument that there aren’t a lot of massive holes on this roster. However, with the premium pick that they have, the Jags could be opportunistic and fill their most pressing needs early. But what are their most pressing needs? We ranked them here, with prospects who could fill them the best.
1. Cornerback
The Jacksonville Jaguars were dead last in the NFL in DVOA against number 2 wideouts, according to FTN Fantasy. While cornerback Tyson Campbell is good when healthy (the when healthy part is the issue), the spot opposite him has been a glaring weakness for the Jaguars.

2. Defensive tackle
The Jaguars finished the season 31st in Pressure Rate despite EDGEs Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker finishing 16th and 19th in total pressures among defensive linemen, respectively. The Jaguars need some more push from the interior, and with most of their defensive tackles being more run stoppers than anything, a pass rushing three technique DT should make this defense a lot better.

3. Offensive guard
The Jaguars need some physicality in the interior of the offensive line. Right guard Brandon Scherff might be on his way out, and center Mitch Morse is also long in the tooth. New Jags head coach Liam Coen really transformed the Bucs’ offense when he went to more gap scheme and using his athletic linemen to reach the edges of the defense. Outside of Ezra Cleveland, the Jaguars don’t have an interior offensive lineman who can do that, so expect them to go after one early.

4. Safety
Andre Cisco is a free agent, and the depth behind him hasn’t really stepped up at all. Antonio Johnson hasn’t been good enough at deep safety to make him the successor there, and Darnell Savage was in more of a nickel role last season. With the depth of the safety room looking dire, that could be a position they choose to address in the draft.
