Marvel Studios has unveiled the official teaser for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” showing the arrival of the first family to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the over a minute clip released on Marvel’s social media pages on Tuesday, Feb. 4, fans were treated to a first look at cast members Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach respectively portraying the roles of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) and Ben Grimm (The Thing).
The teaser, which is set in a retro-futuristic 1960s Manhattan, shows the group sticking together as a family, traversing life before and after obtaining extraordinary abilities from a space mission.
“Whatever life throws at us, we’ll face it together…as a family,” Kirby says.
“Marvel’s First Family has arrived,” the caption reads.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is directed by Matt Shakman and written by Peter Cameron, Josh Friedman and Jeff Kaplan. The much-anticipated film is set for release this coming July.
Aside from the four lead stars, other cast members include Ralph Ineson and Julia Garner, who respectively portrays Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and John Malkovich are also among the cast.
