The team announced that Tolentino would be missing games after the opposite hitter suffered a ruptured appendix.
“Naging maganda yung naging performance namin nung second set kasi yung adjustment between doon sa blockings namin and depensa namin nakuha namin and nagtuloy-tuloy. Sabi ko nga, if ever na tayo mag-dedictate ng tempo makukuha natin yung game,” Alinsunurin said.

“Kung ano man pwedeng gawin nila, makaka-adjust tayo. Yun ang nangyari nakuha namin lahat ng adjustment namin sa block namin and floor defense namin, lalo na yung serve namin nakatulong talagang nagfocus kami doon sa isang target namin para ma-maximize namin o makita namin kung ano ginagawa ng PLDT,” he added.
After a neck and neck affair early in the final frame, Choco Mucho put its foot on the pedal and crafted an 8-1 run mostly behind Rondina to clinch the match.
Savi Davison’s 27-point and 15 excellent receptions was not enough to stop PLDT from sinking to a 4-4 standing.
Kath Arado caught 19 excellent digs, Fiola Ceballos, apart from a meager five points, blunted 10 aces while young playmaker Ange Alcantara dished out 15 excellent digs.
Choco Mucho can make it four in a row against Akari, which defeated Nxled in the earlier game, on Feb. 8 while PLDt seeks a comeback versus Cignal on Jan 28, both at the same Pasig City venue.
