The true reason Orpheus turned around, though, was left out. His inability to see Eurydice's presence had him questioning Hades' veracity. Because of his betrayal, Hades became the harsh realization that people can't fully trust one another.

This is one of my favourite greek myths! Not only that my hometown is lying in the Rhodope mountains, the place where Orpheus was believed to be born ( according to the legend) but also the talant and the courage he possessed to go to the underworld for his lost love! 🖤🖤🖤
