What is Richard III doing on this list?
Richard III only ruled for two short years during which a number of reforms were put into effect. If he had lived, he probably would have been one of the more notable kings. There is still no proof that he had anything to do with the supposed murder of his nephews. Richard I, John, Richard II, Edward II, Mary I, Stephen, Henry VI were the weak or just plain awful kings. Henry VIII was a monster.

None of them were as bad as our king now.
Never in history has a king allowed his country to be overtaken by foreigners willingly and gleefully.
They don't speak the language, they don't follow the church, yet the king wills them in and provides for them over his own people.

I love that it is 4+ hours long! Longform content is some of the best. Many interesting subjects simply cannot be covered in one hour.
Just a small point. The video kept saying that the sons of Edward I with Margaret of France (Thomas of Brotherton and Edmund of Woodstock) were Edward II step-brothers, but they were not. They were his half-brothers. They all had the same father, Edward I.

I love this channel but this orator is boring.
Edward II is a great example of how hereditary heirs can go bad. Say what you will about how brutal Edward I could be, but he was definitely one of the strongest Kings England ever had, and his son was the polar opposite.
