There’s a lot to comb through, so I went ahead and put my shopping expertise to the test — I spend 40 hours a week hunting down kitchen deals, after all — and rounded up 12 of the most exciting finds. If you’re ever going to take the plunge and buy a Breville espresso machine, do it while it’s on sale, and make sure it’s our favorite espresso machine on the market. We love the Barista Express, an all-around fantastic pick that makes it easy to customize your drink because it has manual and automatic settings. It comes with a built-in grinder for the freshest brew and a milk frother to create barista-level drinks at home.  

Lodge 10.25-Inch Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet

This is the lowest I’ve ever seen the price on this Lodge skillet. For just $17, you’ll have an heirloom piece that’ll last you a lifetime, if you care for it right. I love cooking with cast iron because it gets such an incredible sear on everything, and I can even bake with it easily. It’s our favorite cast iron skillet on the market because it heats evenly and holds that heat well. It also has everything you need, from its pour spouts to its helper handle. 

Le Creuset 4.5-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Signature Round Dutch Oven

If you know me, you know I love Le Creuset Dutch ovens. They’re built to last — my family has had two in rotation for over 20 years. The round oven isn’t easy to find at a discount, so I’d score it over $85 off while you can. The 4.5-quart size is a great option for someone who’s cooking for one or two people, though it’s a worthwhile addition to any collection for making sides, sauces, jams, and more. Shop it on sale in cerise for the highest discount, though other shades are available for less, too. 

Yeti Roadie 24 Cooler

I’m already thinking about summer, and this Roadie 24 cooler would be a great addition to my family’s beach gear. Since it holds around 18 cans of goods, it’s the perfect size for a day in the sand. We’re the type of people to put everything in one cooler, so we’ll have plenty of space for drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and more. KitchenAid Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer

If there’s one thing I will always recommend, it’s a stand mixer, and I know KitchenAid is a brand I can rely on. My family’s had one for decades, and since I can’t keep hogging that family mixer, I knew I needed to buy one for myself. I went with the KitchenAid Artisan series because it has an extra half-quart of capacity as compared to the family model I had been using. I appreciate that it comes with everything I need, including a whisk, a dough hook, and a paddle. The speed dial is easy to control, and I prefer a tilt-head design like this one for loading ingredients in. It’s the perfect mixer for me. I shopped it on sale, and so should you. 

KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker

Ever since my co-worker Katie Brown raved about this rice cooker, I’ve had my eye on it. Quite frankly, it’s genius: It can cook a wide range of grains with none of the guesswork because its water reservoir will automatically measure out the water you need with a built-in scale. Just add your grains and it’s good to go. It’d make weeknight dinners so much easier, especially for cozy stews and comforting curries this winter season. 

Zwilling 4-Stage Manual Knife Sharpener 

I want to take a poll of how many people realize their knives are painfully dull after the holiday season. I’d be guilty, too. Even though we use our knives daily, you really feel their flaws when you’re prepping for hours at a time. Luckily, there’s no better time than the new year to give those blades a fresh start with our favorite manual knife sharpener from Zwilling. All it takes is a swipe through the sharpener’s dedicated slots and you’ll be back to slicing and dicing like a pro. You can use it for both Western and Japanese knives, which we appreciate. KitchenAid 13-Cup Food Processor

I’m in serious need of a food processor, and this KitchenAid model is tough to resist while it’s $50 off. It’s actually one of our favorites on the market, ranking as the most versatile model we tested. (As an apartment dweller, versatile is pretty much the name of my game.) This processor comes with so many added accessories, like a chopping blade, a dough blade, a reversible shredding disc, an adjustable slicing disc, and a dicing kit. On top of that, its standard food processing functionality is top-notch.

This is the Vitamix blender I started with, and it’s the model we recommend most for beginners. Why? It’s easy to use but has that Vitamix power you expect. Rubbermaid 8-Piece FreshWorks Produce Saver Set

In 2025, I need to stop wasting produce. I keep saying I am going to buy these Rubbermaid containers to help, and I never follow through. With the 43% discount, though, they’re really hard to pass up.
