$70 a month for a Gym membership?
I have no subscriptions at all, i don't even pay for my Internet..no car payment.. My only entertainment bill is $35 for SKY satellite… Since i stopped watching sports at the beginning of the year I've save so much money… I only need to learn how to start investing. But… What if I don't buy the jacket, but freeze to death… No, not to death, that's gloomy. Let's just say I go out in the cold and have to be freezing and shivering all winter?$150 seems like a worthwhile cost to me.
Try the week rule rather than the 24 hr rule.. cause 9 times out of 10 life happens, or the next shiny thing will appear… that's what I do, and typically never get the thing I shouldn't be getting anyways…
You know you could save that $75 completely, each month, by not paying for a gym membership. You really don't need one. Workout outside. Your body has evolved for endurance anyway, the 'weight machines' are just for aesthetics, and you can get that anyway through body weight or body weight + mod workouts that you can do anywhere. Why spend your money to breathe in recycled air while other people sweat around you?
So hard to get inspiration watching american videos. Nobody I know buys $150 jackets, we do not have subscriptions let alone the ones we forgoten about. We do not use credit cards, we go out to eat like once in a blue moon. Do not buy coffee/tea/water, we make it at home… Like nothing applies to our situation. And knowing the sallaries americans get and all the investing funds that are inaccessible for us here in Europe… How on Earth they manage not to be millionaires by the time they're 30?

I was once a banker. You'd be surprised at the number of people who seem financially successful, but are actually broke and use debt to maintain that image. But then again, Jaspreet wouldn't be surprised.
I remember having to use credit cards to pay for expenses between pay checks. Acquiring IT certifications to increase my income and adopting automatic saving deposits really changed my life!
You also need to factory in the minimum fashion required to keep a standard. It's proven good looking people make more money

Contrary to what a lot of financial advisors and YouTube personalities (no offense) say, it really isn't the small things like coffee, electric bills, not clipping coupons that so many people are wasting their money on. It's the expensive stuff like housing, transportation, education and healthcare. Housing is the #1 household expense for most households and many are spending way too much! I live in Tennessee and the average mortgage is over $1200 when the median wage is below $35,000 a year. People are told by real estate and finance professionals that they can afford up 30% of gross household income for a house payment. So what do people buy? The most expensive house a bank will give them a lone for! This blows my mind! Same with cars. How much car do you really need? Do you really even need a car? For 90% of the American population the answer is NO! You might need to get to work and back and forth to the grocery store but 90% of Americans have access to public transportation. Even in my small city of Clarksville TN there is public transportation. Having a car is a convenience that most low income people should avoid.
The last is education. I love education. I think education is great and people should never stop learning however spending too much on an education is a problem shared by so many Americans. I have a friend that took out $150,000 in student loans! Why? Because she wanted to go to this fancy out of state university with an excellent, nationally recognized, perennial March Madness basketball team! I went to a community college and later a university(never finished)that doesn't even participate in collegiate sports. She ended up getting her masters degree and she is happy working for her alma mater, which is cool but guess who makes more money today?
Make money off your hobbies.

I can honestly say I don't go out to eat and buy drinks much if any simply cause I can't afford to.. haha. But I also know how it can add up. When I see people smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, gambling, it makes me cringe.. Drug addicts who spend $100 dollars a day on drugs..

Coffee drinker who also enjoys tea. Coffee is only slightly more complicated to make than tea and that's only if you're grinding your beans, otherwise you throw it in the French press, put the water in, let it steep for a minutes, push the plunger down, and you have coffee. Costs are also rather similar although even higher end tea compared to higher end coffee is still considerably cheaper. However, the same rule applies that it is still monumentally cheaper to buy a 12oz bag of beans for $15 that will last about a month rather than going to the local mom and pop shop to get a cup of joe everyday.
